Leadership

The transformation of the healthcare industry depends on healthcare personnel that is in this industry. Strong leadership is very important for the whole health care industry to keep on improving and ensure quality service to the patients and a good working environment. The MNS program will breach the gap that exists in the nursing profession. Although not all nurses desire to be leaders in their practice the MSN program aims at developing nursing leaders that will run the healthcare systems and contribute to the high standards and quality (Institute of Medicine (US). Committee on the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Initiative on the Future of Nursing, 2011). The discussion that follows will cover how the MSN program aims at developing nurses with strong leadership skills and citizenship.
