1. In the recent days, the Muslim inhabitants in the US have been highly disregarded by the most influential and powerful individuals in the country. Part of the indifference has been based on purposeful animosity and racial discrimination which spread further into the biasness in the religion and the other part is based on pure lack of knowledge about their history and origin. This is attributed to the fact that only a few students in their advanced years of education can easily give a brief history about them as well as using maps to identify the countries that embrace Islam (Ahmed 37-9). This article reveals that the unconsciousness is believed to be selective and purposeful in structuring power that relies on the fact that obvious support will always be availed in the case of any military pursuit by the Islamic society. Also, it highlights the varied aspects of the Islamic community that most dwellers of the country are not well aware of and ought to be cognizant of among other contemporary issues.
