I have already selected an article. There are few different reasons gender bias is related to organizational behavior that you can use in the paper:

-Gender bias occurs due to personal values, perception, and outdated traditional views on men and women.
-Gender discrimination in the workplace leads to an increase in employee turnover and creates a hostile work environment.
-Gender discrimination also promotes harassment and possible workplace violence.
-Discrimination leads to psychological and emotional disturbance, resulting in descend in performance standard.
-Gender bias in organization also widen the socio-economic inequalities.
-Lost Productivity
-Gender Discrimination Comes at a Cost to Employers
-Gender Discrimination Promotes Inefficient Hiring
-Gender Discrimination Can Give Employers a Bad Reputation

INSTRUCTIONS:
Find a recent article or articles (published in 2017 or after) dealing with a current event related to organizational behavior. You may use any media source (e.g., newspaper, magazine, etc), and you may be creative with this assignment.

Based on your article(s), you will write a paper comprised of the following:

1. Summary of the event/article - overview of the main points of the chosen article; Be sure to state the title and authors of the article.  This should be written in enough detail that someone who did not read the article will be able to understand the key points of the article.

2. Application of how the event/article relates to organizational behavior topics. This section regards the course concepts and theories that relate to the article. This section should make up a significant portion of your paper and should reflect an in-depth analysis of the application of course concepts and theories that relate to the article. It is better to choose a few concepts/theories and discuss them in depth than to choose many concepts/theories and not thoroughly discuss them. Here depth is far better than breadth. The emphasis of the paper should be on the application component.

3. Conclusion - one paragraph summarizing the paper; should not introduce new ideas or topics

4. Reference List using APA formatting.

Formatting requirements (Use the attached template which also provides further information):

1. Word document with Times New Roman 12-point font throughout and 1-inch margins

2. Minimum of 4 full double-spaced pages of text body (the reference page(s) or anything that is not the body of the paper are not included in this page requirement)

3. Any article used must be listed in a reference section on a separate page at the end of the document (does not count toward page requirement) in APA format.

Style requirements:

1. Written in a professional manner (e.g., free from grammatical errors and typos, no slang, etc.)

2. Written in an academic tone (e.g., not writing about personal experiences or your own thoughts on material, not conversational, sticking to the facts/information).
