Body language plays a critical part in communication. It is one of the most important elements of non-verbal communication. The manner in which people poise take space, and even blinks tell about the person, how they feel about themselves and how they feel about the other persons in a given social setting. For one to master and improve on their personal relations they must not only be able to interpret the body language of those around them but also exercise the different body languages as they give an impression on how people are. This paper discusses territory with respect to establishing close or distant relations, the use of body language and their implications, and why body language is important in personal and business relations.
