The research paper (12-15 pages) is an in-depth exploration and analysis of a particular event, theme, or issue related to the Cold War in Latin America. The paper must include at least 2 primary sources (newspaper articles, statistical material, material from contemporary magazines, memoirs, propaganda, official government documents, music, art, maps, etc.) and 5 secondary sources (scholarly monographs and journal articles).

They should be written in Times 12 font, double-spaced, and with 1-inch margins. Citations should follow Chicago Manual of Style.
