Introduction

Copywriting has to be persuasive for it to have a meaningful connection with its target market. The success of Lego has been associated with its marketing tricks, copywriting to the extent that competitor companies tried to copy blocks of dimensions similar to Lego. The cases of Lego and MacDonald's illustrate how customer perspective is used to create a successful connection with the target market (Akhter 11). The Big Mac penetrated the market using TV ads, print and mainly through the campaign song by Hoyt Axton in which "the Ballad of Big Mac" is sung. The success of Big Mac is an illustration of how copywriting may be used successfully to make appeals to the customer and penetrate the market.  The discussion of this paper is centered on unraveling posters copywriting in relation to Lego and MacDonald's Big Mac that are described in a logical manner.
