Written Report Requirements
You’re required to submit a five-page (minimum), double-spaced, typewritten report and use at least four (4) sources of information, including your textbook and excluding Wikipedia (Textbook is “Criminal Investigation second edition, by Michael D. Lyman, ISBN 0-13-358794-4). Higher grades will be based on the thoroughness of the report.

Cite your work and sources parenthetically within your paper AND include the bibliography / work cited page at the end of your report to avoid any potential for plagiarism.

Written Research Paper Topics
Write a paper on a criminal investigations topic of particular interest to you (I chose “Criminal Intelligence and Surveillance Operations as it pertains to criminal investigations”. Thoroughly research that topic, including the most current technology and advancements that assist law enforcement in their investigations.  You also must use real world case examples that have not been included in the text book to elaborate and expand on your topic.  Your textbook MUST be one of the four sources you use and should be cited within your research paper.

Reminder: As stated above, your paper requirement is five (5) pages and must include a bibliography (page 6) with at least four (4) sources of information, including your textbook and excluding Wikipedia.
