Question: (1) When employers hired college graduates in accounting (for example), they know these graduates can practice accounting principles but they also want to know more general things about the person. In a general way, they want to assess the person and the relationship skills of the person--the skills contained in the best selling book "Winning Friends and Influencing People. What are these skills or behaviors? See slides 20 and 22.
(2) Secondly --and most importantly--how can a person gain these skills?
Use the book's chapters on training, development--chapters 7, 8, 9. Use the slides heavily in answering your question. That is, list the behaviors used in winning friends and influencing people in your answer to (1) and, then, in your answer to (2) identify ways of gaining these skills or learning the behaviors using the three chapters from the book for background.
