Dyson is a company which is based in the United Kingdom widely known for the manufacture and sale of vacuum cleaners. The sales of vacuum cleaners from Dyson has been significantly high since its inception. Most customers laud customer service and affordable prices. However, some customers have raised concerns on the short durability of the vacuum cleaners sold at Dyson, pointing out that barely do they last a year. Some of the unsatisfied customers have also indicated that the vacuum cleaners produce a lot of dust suspended in the air and cannot operate for long hours, due to overheating. Hence the machines can only operate for up to a maximum of three hours a day if the customer has luck to his side. Considering these complaints, this paper proposes the types of innovations and changes that Dyson needs to implement in order to increase its overall performance.
