Take a deep dive into the work of Edouard Manet.  Find links to several videos for paintings done by Manet. Choose at least one painting to describe, explaining your view of Manet's intent with the work, how it reflects Paris at the time, and how it is classified as realist.  You can also find written information on the Khan Academy website on Manet also.  Do you feel that his work was influential in the development of Impressionism?  If so, how?
