Choose one of the key concepts we’ve covered in this unit (grit, fixed and growth mindsets, motivation, or habits of mind) and begin your paper with a summary of that concept for readers who have not read the text. Remember to introduce and describe any texts and authors you use. In addition to paraphrasing and/or summarizing ideas from the text(s), use at least two effective quotations to explain the concept and support your discussion. Incorporate those quotations carefully into your own writing (use the quotation sandwich method).
Then, in your own educational autobiography, tell the story of your education. Be sure to include specific examples from your personal experience as a student and discuss how those examples illustrate the ways in which your chosen topic has impacted your motivation as a student.
