Instruction from the Professor: The goal in each paper is to prove an arguable thesis. (An arguable thesis is one that has a counter-argument that is not dismissible.) Questions I will ask myself in evaluating your essay: What is the thesis of the essay, and is the thesis arguable? Does the essay consider counter-arguments or ignore them? Does the essay examine or suppress evidence that might seem to contradict or otherwise complicate its thesis? NOTE: In order to leave yourself the room you’ll need to consider counter-arguments and complicating evidence, you will have to make sure that your thesis is very narrowly limited. Don’t worry, though. If it’s arguable, the smallest point always turns out to be plenty large.
So, please make sure that the THESIS STATEMENT is clear and should be an argument.
I will upload the text that you should use to make this essay and a copy of the professor comment on my first paper (I got B- on my first paper and I want to get A this time)
