Explain which learning concepts (i.e. conditioned and unconditioned stimuli, conditioned and unconditioned responses, shaping, primary reinforcers, secondary reinforcers, positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, punishment, escape conditioning, and avoidance conditioning) are part of the “Mayan Method”? Give concrete examples from the textbook, podcast and article to support your statements.
Discuss the potential consequences of using physical punishment to shape children’s behavior.
