Imagine you have been hired as a consultant to a privately-owned US corporation, Shaffer Enterprises, founded in 2010. The company makes an educational software system including an application called “iGuess” that allows students to take online courses with a unique electronic device (the “iGuesser”) that Shaffer Enterprises makes. The application can also be used with a smart phone or gaming system.

This paper represents my individual work. Unless cited, nobody else wrote any part of this paper. I am not a cheater. The article stresses the importance of Shaffer Enterprises remaining in Encinitas and establishing a Climate Action Plan.

The company should remain in Encinitas and observe the new regulations on climate actions as it is a corporate responsibility to conserve the environment and reduce environmental pollution. Relocating the company from the city to another place without Climate Action Plans will not make the company immune to the regulations set in the new location. Moreover, by observing ethics, such as complying with Climate policy, the company will avoid major scandals that may ruin its reputation (Chandler 98). Successful companies operate by observing ethical values and stressing moral standards on their employees.
