Income Inequality in the United States

Introduction

Research and study have reported an increased rate of Income Inequality in the United States of America.  Scholars and authors have portrayed various strengths and weaknesses through several research papers in an attempt to explain the economic reasons behind the inequality and how it can be handled. For example, the journal on income inequality in the U.S by Piketty and Saez (2003) has depicted various strengths in the provision of information over this topic. This paper has provided statistical data and facts about the levels and forms of income inequality in the USA. Secondly, it has also borrowed information from other sources to build on what it already has, for example, using numeric data from Internal Revenue Service, to clearly indicate the wages and salaries of black Americans to the whites, females to males among others.
