Introduction

Leadership is the ability to influence people to share one's vision and willingly pursue a shared goal. A leader is deemed to be ethical when they lead people in a manner that is morally conscious and respects the rights and privileges of others. They are aware that their decisions have an effect on their followers, and therefore they use their power and authority to bring greater good to those they lead. This paper examines the importance of ethics in leadership, and how to make ethical decisions in challenging situations.
