Effective and precise communication is a crucial aspect of developing as a successful leader. Leaders should learn to communicate effectively as it will enable the organization to attain development and success. Also, leaders may have other leadership qualities, but they cannot effectively lead when they are poor communicators. This is because communications always enable them to share information and what they expect from the followers thus enabling a better understanding of any organization. The university leadership is crucial in running the operations of the Institution thus the leaders are tasked with communicating effectively with the learners and staff members to enhance the smooth running of the institution. This paper establishes that leaders with effective communication skills enhance smooth operations among the staff improving the performance of an organization.
