Introduction
California State is in its worst state following the raging wildfires in the region that has contributed to the loss of several lives and destruction of property. It is reported that some of the bodies are recovered while badly burned that it could be difficult for relatives to identify their loved ones. Over 7000 business premises and houses have been burnt down while approximately 150 people are reported missing. It is noted that the strong wind blows made it more difficult for the firefighters in the region to contain the situation that has even scorched more than ninety-one thousand acres of land in California. Some federal state leaders argue that the main cause of such a destructive wildfire in the region is poor forest management that needed to be addressed. Thus making the situation even worse as the US administration led by Donald Trump threatens to cut funding to California because of the wildfires. Focusing on the state of California and the Wildlife management, the paper will incorporate various theories of policy analysis and program evaluation to give a glimpse of how the state will handle the threat from the state top administration.
The State Issue
The current wildfire in California is highly destructive and based on the analysis, it is evident that the wildfire is linked to global warming impacts. Increase in the use of natural fuel and compounding environmental conditions significantly contributed to the series of wildfires in the state (Kimberly & Carl., 2018). The increasing dead tree fuels and the worsening atmospheric conditions are even expected to worsen the condition in future if no intervention is taken. High temperatures and extreme dryness added to the decreasing quality of air increases risks of wildfires in California. The states require lots of funds to minimize the severities associated with the situation. Therefore, cutting funding to the state will mean more crisis thus the necessity for effective policy analysis and evaluation.
