The assignment  focuses on asking you to take a reflective position on a couple of things. In a MLA formatted essay, please reflect on and discuss the following questions:

The first area I would like you to think about is the notion of human rights. Over the course of the next few weeks, our assignments will intersect with questions such as "What are human rights?" "What should be a human right?" "What is the difference between a privilege and a right?" So in developing this essay response, that is the first thing I'd like you to think about: what are human rights?

The second is to consider the intersection between human rights and communication. Some areas to consider: In what ways do they intersect and join? In what ways do you see them working together? In what ways do you see them resisting one another?

The third area is now to reflect on your own voice. What would you identify as your single major strength in the area of communication? What are some areas where you feel you need to grow? Please provide specific examples of when that area of strength aided you, as well as when you feel that area of needed growth impeded you.

And then finally, please reflect on one time in your life where you see the concepts of human rights and communication intersect. Please be specific in your example/s.
