The world is changing and new rules and regulations are being formulated in the health sector. In the current era, many if not all pharmaceutical firms are restructuring and broadening their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies as a result of extreme pressure from the civil society to act conscientiously and sensibly (Salton & Jones, 2015). Salton and Jones carried out a research to comprehend how international pharmaceutical companies presently integrate themselves into CSR activities in the large developing world focused towards attaining a positive health effect across the globe. They also sought to understand what motivates the pharmaceutical firms to engage in CSR activities and the advancing strategies of doing so.
