Introduction

In the field of management, there are several factors that need to be put into consideration when one is a manager. And without these ethics, one is merely qualified to hold this position of leadership be it in organization premises, industries or fields. These include respect to the junior employees, practicing justice without discrimination, possess a sense of humane, honest, one who makes good decisions among many others. Leadership involves leading without fear or favor and without any kind of biased behavior. And thus, a leader cannot base employee’s treatment on personality, ethnicity, nationality, gender or any other factor that makes them different from the others (Turner, 2014). Therefore, at most professionalism needs to be put into account when conducting the duties of a leader and by leading as an example through team building, diligence and being initiative.

Brad’s Scenario

Brad is a middle-aged young man who has established his teaching career in an elementary school. He has been working under the school management for over five years among female teachers and another male teacher. He started as an intern but over the years he has been promoted to various ranks and thus landing a permanent job in the school among other seniors teachers. Brad has a melancholic type of personality but despite that, he has developed a substantial amount of rapport among the children. However, the principal happens not to be impressed with his composure and personality as he thinks it is not fit for his career, and as a result, his annual reviews of progress and improvement have not yet been taken into consideration.
