The increasing size of the Merry Men band was a major strength to Robinhood's personal crusade against the sheriff. Alone, he could not manage to defeat the sheriff's administration. The second strength is the fact that he was spent one year organizing and training the band for battle, this enhanced their readiness for battle. The main weakness in Robinhood’s strategy was the ever-increasing size of the Merrymen band; it was becoming difficult to provide enough food for the team and enforcing discipline was also becoming a challenge. The Merrymen were becoming less vigilant since they spent their day talking and playing games. Additionally, the large number of Merry men was depleting the financial reserves.
