Packaging is a technique used in order to protect or enclose various products that are to be stored, used or sold. Food packaging on the other hand, is the technique of enclosing or protecting various foods processed in the vast food industry. Various foods processed should be handled in a certain prescribed manner and failure to adhere to this results to food waste and thus renders the food unsuitable for consumption by either human or animals. Packaging is one of the recommended ways through which food wastage can be reduced significantly.
