Hypothesis Testing; Self Esteem

            Studies claim that participation in some activities improves self-esteem. The activities include sports, cultural and youth groups. The paper intends to investigate this claim using 100 respondents who have a record of participation in the activities. The standard self-esteem questionnaire used arrived at a mean of 46.1. However, the population parameters are; mean of 41.7 and standard deviation of 18.2. Thus, given the distribution follows a normal distribution, we have;
