Amnesty international entails a movement-centric organization that bases its operations on global voluntary membership. The organization comprises of self-governing, locally registered national bodies and international members. Through the membership platform, it is evident that the members are unified by the central structure that has coordinated values, mission and vision statement. In the global volunteering activities, the organization has been focussing on implementing an IT approach that focuses on distinctively competent service delivery process. To capture the global governing bodies in their initiatives to sustain volunteerism in service delivery, it has been dependent on the IT infrastructure in the service delivery process. The continued self-assessment of the internal and external operations has been necessary to ensure sustainability in their outreach programs. Nonetheless, the company has been grappling with significant challenges in their supply chain process. The management of its aid programs has been ineffective in their performance mandate. As a clear example, the organization has been inefficient at the tracking process of its donations to various nations. Therefore, the need to examine the redundancies in the supply chain process is a necessary imitative towards maintaining effectiveness in the outreach process.
