I've already finished the first draft.
I need help for polishing the essay, and maybe add some details I missed.
GUIDELINES FOR AUCTION CATALOG ENTRY
The 500-word-long text is intended for Christie’s sales catalogs. Please choose a work from the list below, and before starting your research, study the catalogs in the library.
Bear in mind that entries in an auction house catalog differ greatly from collection or exhibition catalogs published by museums. Consider the commercial purpose of the auction house entry, note the adjectives used to describe the work, and remember that sales catalogs are marketing tools.
The entry should identify the work, including its provenance (1); provide a brief formal and contextual description of the work (2); include its exhibition history and bibliography (3); indicate an estimate based on market research (4).
The word count covers the main text only and excludes provenance, list of exhibitions and bibliography
