Reasons for Choosing Diagnostic Medical Sonography

            The most important reason for choosing a career in the medical profession is passion for the field and the important role it plays in the society. Nothing gives me more joy than being able to help identify what condition someone is suffering from and help nurse them back to health. A career as a sonographer assures me of a chance to play a role in making the lives of the patients I shall be attending to better. As a sonographer, I would be contented knowing that I play a part in making the lives of the patients I deal with better, since diagnosis is an integral art of any treatment procedure.
