There are still changes that are needed on the paper that I have had revised befor A3c – value of compensable factors – For this section, you should pick 2 factors that would be applicable to all 5 YLSS positions (they should not vary from job to job). Once you have chosen the 2 factors, then you would assign point values to the factors themselves to use in your evaluation of the positions. Please take a look at section A3c in the attached template for an example of how to assign point values to a factor – in the example, the factor is for skill level, which could be applicable to all 5 jobs. Once you have done that, then you can evaluate each of the positions against your two factors. A4A1 – summary of competitors – It appears that you have written two separate sections that summarize competitors. My suggestion is that you break these down and instead write 3 paragraphs, one for each of your 3 competitors. List of the name of the competitor, talk about what they do, how many employees they have, and whether they are union, non-union, or union status is not indicated. This will more clearly present your summary of competitors. A4B – benchmark jobs – The two columns need to be aligned so that you can clearly see the YLSS position in the left hand column and the appropriate benchmark position in the right hand column. A Human Resource Manager would not be an appropriate benchmark job for a Customer Service Representative because they are two different professions.
