The supply chain has made individual companies relate to other companies in the right way. The interactions have made it possible for companies to reach out to external markets. This has led to the robust international trade. However, some companies have used the knowledge on the supply chain to impoverish some countries as they obtain raw materials from those countries at a lower price then resell at a high price. The supply chain benefits the nations which are more industrially developed. Supply chain makes it possible for companies to forecast on world issues, and take appropriate steps to avoid effects such as recession and loss of profits (Banker, 2015). Thus, the impact of depression on some countries can be avoided by companies as they anticipate changes in global economies. However, for the small businesses which may not have appropriate supply chain they may be run over by events that happen around them.
