Types of decisions made by financial managers There are three major types of resolutions which fall under the financial manager’s scope. The first is the investment decision (Samiksha, 2013). This decision will involve the careful selection of the total value of properties to be held by the company the compositions of these assets and the firm’s risk features as is perceived by the investors. This decision has to be made because a firm will have many choices as to where to invest and it has to select the best venture which will most profit it. Selecting the best tender is considered as the investment decision. This decision is directly related to the primary objective of financial management which is profit maximization because it involves selecting the best investment which will bring in profits to the firm.
