4 P’s of Marketing
Applying marketing strategies in advanced practicing nursing is an emerging area in the health industry. In the past marketing strategies have been applied in so many fields such as engineering, education and other. Product, price, place & promotion are what make the 4p’s. In traditional marketing terms, the product is the item, and the price is the valuation the product retails at and which is acceptable to the end user. The place is the physical location the change of ownership of the product will take place and promotions means the strategies that will be used to catch the attention of the customer (Osiri, 2013). These marketing tactics can also be applied to APN and will be discussed in this paper.
